Halloween 2013

Nathan was so excited about Halloween this year!  He wanted to read Halloween books almost every night for the whole month leading up to it; he wanted to wear his Halloween shirt almost as much as he wanted to wear his various sports jerseys (and that is saying a lot!), and he kept asking to look at the calendar so he could visualize exactly how many more days there were until Halloween.  Luckily, even with all that build up, Halloween did not disappoint :)

The week of Halloween was Nathan's half-term break from school, so we kept busy by making Halloween crafts, hosting our annual pumpkin carving playdate with Nathan's two best friends, and even making a spooky Halloween dinner.  When Halloween day finally arrived, Nathan was so excited to wear his costume (Mater from Cars) and go to a Halloween party, but I think his favorite part was trick-or-treating!

Now, on to the next holiday countdown :)
