Christmas 2013

With the baby due in early January, we couldn't travel back to the US for Christmas this year, so we had our first London Christmas.  It was also our first Christmas away from our families.  And, as hard as that was, it was actually really nice to celebrate Christmas with just our little family, especially since it was our last one as a family of three.  It was kind of a nice change of pace to have a mellow Christmas at home without having to rush around from one place to another.  And, Nathan was thrilled to be able to stay home all afternoon and play with all of his new toys that he had just opened.  Christmas really is magical, especially when you experience it through the eyes of a 3-year-old!

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We don't have a fireplace, so we left Santa's pie (we didn't have any cookies :) and letter on the kitchen table.  I guess Santa thought that was the best place to leave Nathan his presents too :)

Nathan's letter to Santa.

This little guy received an incredible amount of presents.  I'm still trying to figure out where to put everything :)
